The Gucci Dionysus series (Dionysus bag) was introduced on the autumn/winter 2015 runway. It is a signature work of creative director Alessandro Michele’s reimagining of the brand, embodying the brand’s innovative spirit and cultural heritage. Named after the Greek god Dionysus, the series’ iconic double tiger-head buckle draws inspiration from a painting by Titian, symbolizing protection and romance, and showcasing the brand’s values that transcend time and space.

Selected from high-end materials such as kid leather, patent leather, and GG Supreme canvas, these bags are hand-cut and sewn in Italian workshops. The bamboo handle, crystal-embellished tiger head buckle, and accordion pleat design fully demonstrate the craftsmanship. Available in popular sizes including ultra-mini, mini, and medium, the colors range from black and white classics, beige-spliced brown basics, to trendy colors such as Ancora red and light gray. It combines mythological narratives with ancient craftsmanship, adapts to all occasions, and has become synonymous with luxury and individuality.
